Homemade Moisturizer for all Skin Type:

This Moisturizer is prepared with simple ingredients and budget friendly. And also suitable for all skin types. We cannot add any chemicals or preservatives. But no need to store it refrigerated. We can store it in normal room temperature for more than 6 months. Before going to prepare this moisturizer need to know the importance of moisturizer and type of moisturizer etc.

Importance of Moisturizer in Your Skincare Routine:

Normally Moisturizer is creamy or lotion consistency. It is important to moisturize your skin every day. Any skin care routine is not complete if it does not give importance to moisturizing technique. Based on the type of skin you have, you need to use the most suitable cream or lotion for moisturizing your skin. This will help to keep your skin looking radiant and glowing throughout the day.

Benefits of moisturizer:

  • Moisturizing makes the skin soft, because it fills the skin with required hydration. Dull and dry skin can be easily be revitalized with applying a moisturizer on a regular basis.
  • Moisturizer adds up as an extra layer on your skin because of which, you receive protection from harmful elements like UV rays of the sun, pollution, dirt, dust and other components of the external environment, which are really harmful for your skin.
  • When you moisturize your skin, it becomes free from dryness because of which, layers of dead skin cells are not accumulated on the skin.

Types of Moisturizers:

Commonly moisturizers are creamy consistency, but in marker there are 4 types of moisturizer are available in different brands.

  1. Creams – Heavy weight moisturizer that can be more or less concentrated. They provide an amazing amount of hydration and keep the skin soft.
  2. Lotions – Lightweight moisturizers with a high content of water. They absorb easily and don’t make the skin greasy, which can be good for people with oily skin.
  3. Gels – It is also lightweight moisturizes that absorb easily and provide a lot of hydration. Some of them contain alcohol, which can be a problem for sensitive skin.
  4. Ointments – The heaviest and thickest types of moisturizers with a high content of oils.

How to Apply Moisturizer:

The best way to moisturize is to apply moisturizer to your damp skin immediately after cleansing. This will help to lock in the water, preventing evaporation. Similarly, if you are applying toner, apply your moisturizer when the toner is still damp. Put tiny dots of moisturizer onto your cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. Starting at your left or right cheek, gently massage your moisturizer into your skin in small, circular motions. Continue to your chin, other cheek and forehead, then down to your nose. Continue massaging this way till the moisturizer is fully absorbed.

Now we will See the moisturizer preparation Process :

Ingredients:

  • Alovera Gell-1.5tspn
  • Jojoba Oil-1/2 tspn (Based on your Skin Type)
  • Rose water-1tspn
  • Tea Tree Oil-5drops
  • Small Jar with a lid for storing cream(glass suits best)

Preparation:

  • Take a clean and dry bowl. Careful on no moisture content is there in that bowl. Because if that bowl has water contents it will reduce the self-life of our DIY moisturizer.
  • Add 1.5 tsps. Of aloe Vera gel into that bowl. Natural alovera gel (from alovera plant) is not suitable for this DIY moisturizer. Because if we add natural alovera means it dos note gave the correct consistency and also self-life is very low.so make sure about the alovera we taken is from a shop. Aloe Vera Gel will heal the skin and has a cooling sensation.It helps the skin turn over by regenerating new Cell.
  • After that add ½ tsps. Of Jojoba Oil into it. If we have oily skin reduces the quantity of the oil to 5 to 10 drops. Jojoba oil is known as a humectant ingredient. So, it can seal the skin with a protective barrier to prevent losing moisture, and prevent acne and bacterial infections from forming.
  • Then add around 1 tsps of Rose water into that bowl and mix it well. Mix it until we got the Creamy moisturizer consistency.
  • Finally, add a few drops of tea tree oil into that cream and mix again. Tea tree oil helps to protect our skin from pimples and acne.
  • Now our homemade Moisturizer is ready. Store it into an air tide glass jar.
  • Use the moisturizer in the morning and evening for best result.
