Herbal Hair Oil – Homemade | Hair Oil For Faster Hair Growth

Ayurvedic herbal hair oil mix is nothing but a collection of Ayurvedic ingredients good for long black hair. In the shops, we see hair oil bottles full of herbs, but it is not actually made of herbs, combination of chemicals was added on the so called Ayurvedic herbal oil. Also, it is expensive. Now we can prepare the real herb hair oil at home.

Ingredients:

  • Red creeper ( Thavittu Vempalai )
  • Tanner’s cassia ( Avarampoo )
  • Black Cumin Seeds ( Karupu seeragam vithaigal )
  • Ramacham (Vetiver roots)
  • Dry Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
  • Rose petals ( Roja ithazhgal )
  • Fenugreek seeds ( Vendhayam )
  • Carom seeds (Omam)
  • Flaxseed
  • Coconut oil ( Thenga ennai )

How to Prepare Herbal oil mix:

    • Add all these herbs to a glass bottle (dry and clean bottle).
    • Pour fresh coconut oil into the bottle and make sure that the oil is on the level with the herbs.

So that all the herbs completely soak in the oil. Leave the bottle in sun/ shade for 2-3 days. There will be a slight variation in the color of the oil, as the essence of these Ayurvedic
ingredients ooze into the oil.

  • Now, the oil is ready for use.
  • Apply small quantities of this oil, twice a week, on the hair and scalp before bathing. Massage gently. Wash your hair for at least 2 hours after applying it for best results.
  • Refill the bottle often with coconut oil and leave it for 2-3 days. (Same as old steps)

One bottle of herbs can be used for 2-3 re-fillings. Protect and take care of your hair now by making highly chemical-free pure herbal oil, with this combination of natural dry herbs. The oil will make your hair long, thick, shiny, and soft. Application Process:

Take the required quantity of hair oil into a bowl.

Heat the oil using the double boiling method. (Mild heat is enough)

Before applying oil, comb your hair without tangles. It helps to avoid unwanted hair fall.

Now apply this mild heat oil to your scalp and hair and give a gentle massage.

Leave it for 30 minutes to 1 hour (leave it for overnight also recommended. It helps for best result)

After that wash your hair with normal water. Don’t use hot water for your hair. It is not good for your hair. If needed use mild shampoo or sikakai for washing your hair.

Uses of these herbs:

Coconut oil:

Coconut oil is a natural way to help your hair grow longer, thicker, and faster. The vitamins and essential fatty acids naturally found in coconut oil nourish the scalp and help to remove sebum build-up from hair follicles.

Ramacham (Vetiver roots):

Dry Amla (Indian Gooseberry)

It acts as a good conditioner for your scalp and promotes healthy hair growth. Dry amla minimizes grays in your hair and boosts hair volume.

Rose petals:

Rose petals also work as a powerful natural conditioner. The vitamins A, B3, C, and E of rose petals promote the growth of your hair, by nourishing the scalp and promoting hair growth.

Carom seeds (Omam):
